Once you create a blog, your next step is to get the word out. First make sure that your content is worthy of being shared. To do this make it informative, useful, motivational or entertaining for your readers so that they will want to share it with their friends. Lots of plugins available that make this very easy.
Second, become an interactive member of the blogging community by leaving some of your useful, informative or entertaining comments in the comment section on other blogs. Research and choose these carefully.[See prior posts.] This will help get the word out about your blog and with time increase your blog traffic.
The overriding goal of any of these strategies is to get the word out about your blog and create the kind of 'word of web' that leads to others seeking your advice, services or products. The brilliant thing about promoting your blog is that it can promote you as a thought leader in your field or promote a product or service that you offer. Whether you reside in a big city or small town anywhere is not a real factor in your blogging and business success on the web.

How to Find The Right Type of Information For Your Blog.
To answer people’s questions, you first have to find them. Discussion forums are a great place to start. You can also work with the comments section of just about any blog.
The idea is to find questions that a lot of people want answered and then answer it on your blog. You can share the link for reference after, where the questions have been asked.
It isn’t easy to scour the internet looking for questions to answer. Instead, you can insert links on FAQ fox and type in your search term and get a list of questions that have been asked instantly.

Happy Earth Day 2017 to All Bloggers and Online Shoppers!
Earth day was first celebrated in April of 1970. That's almost a half century ago, but it seems as though it hasn't been until the last few years that we have really seen an increased emphasis on year-round TLC for our planet. We're dining more farm-to-table, we're recycling and upcycling, buying electric and hybrid cars, caring about our forests, and our water. Just for fun I Googled eco blogs and got 19.7 million returns. So more information is being spread and green businesses are flourishing. I, too, have an eco blog called Eco Fashion Chic, mainly to erase the old idea that all eco fashion is "granola" style. Hats off to everyone who is doing more for the earth each and every day.

How to Draw More Readers To Your Blog
So...you're a blogger and have been mostly focused on coming up with new content. In fact, at first that was all that you cared about and rightfully so. Now, you may find yourself at the stage where you want your traffic to increase not at a snail's pace, but at least a little faster. By now you are probably writing with key words in mind. Not to insult your intelligence, but these are simply words that draw in the people that you want to read you blog. So the words you choose to incorporate into your blog content need to be words or phrases that the readers that you want would likely be searching online.
Whether your blog supports a service business or supports a business that sells products or perhaps it is just to share your knowledge with others. Whatever your particular scenario once you hone in on what your readers are seeking work these words and phrases into your blog, but don't stop there. Identify other blogs that might have an interest in your content. They are often willing to use your blog post as a guest blogger on their site. When they do they will offer a link back to your site. These links are just as important as your key words in reaching a larger and larger audience.
You can also increase your blog's readership by sending it out it newsletter form or a teaser with a link that can be emailed to a list of your readers. If you don't have a sign-up on your blog or social media you can compile a list based on your own customers or clients or upon a shared list if you can locate a non-competing business that finds your content relevant to their customers. You can even rent an email list. The purpose of sending out some of your content via email is that you have the opportunity to draw these email readers to your blog site, hopefully on a regular basis.
To find even more readers, write a key word press release. It's more work and should actually contain news. For instance you could decide to turn your blog posts into a short booklet or guide. Great write a press release and link the release to your blog where you offer the new booklet for sale. Perhaps, you decide to launch a survey on a topic related to your blog. Great, now write a press release about the survey and how to take it. If your blog supports products, write a press release on your newest product and how it is different from others of its kind.
Bottom line, great content is the first step to a great blog. Great outreach is the way to draw more readers to your great content.

Have a Dot Biz? Three Reasons Why Blogging Should Become a Key Part of Your Business.
If you have an e-commerce site only blogging needs to be a key part of your business. The number one reason is for the traffic that it can bring to your website. Not only do your customers like fresh content, search engines love it, particularly Google! What is the easiest way to get fresh content out quickly? A blog.
Ideally, you will aim for creating two or three new blog posts each week. This is frequent enough to encourage your customers/readers to check back which increases your traffic stats and provides you with the opportunity to inform or soft sell to your niche market.
Second reason: Fresh blogs help you expand your market. Not only do the search engines prefer fresh content, your when people use search engines for what is known as organic search, they are often simply entering terms related to products and services that they have an immediate need for or have an interest in. Even if people don't know the name of your company or your products, with consistent blogging you are populating the web with information that could be just what they are trying to find.
Third reason:the bond that fresh content can build with your current customers and the new customers that your blog content can bring to your business. Whether you have a B to B business or a consumer focused business word of mouth is still the best way to grow it and new info is the best way to fuel that word of mouth marketing. If you like most businesses you're not going to revamp the basics of your website all that often, but you can always feed some new information through your blog.
